About Us

Our company was founded in 2001. We started our business by exporting and wholesaling Japanese kitchen knives, and in 2014, we began selling directly to customers through our website.

Our office is located near Seki City, Japan’s largest knife-making center, giving us access to some of the finest Japanese knives. Beyond our local region, we have also built direct relationships with trusted makers, blacksmiths, and craftsmen across Japan.

By working directly with makers and craftsmen rather than through wholesalers, we are able to offer carefully selected, authentic Japanese knives at reasonable prices. Every maker and craftsman we work with is someone we know personally and trust. We also hand-test every knife ourselves, and only offer products that we truly feel confident recommending for your kitchen.

We do not try to offer a large number of similar knives or collect rare knives simply because they are unusual. Instead, we focus on a carefully selected range of knives that are practical for everyday use, whether you are a professional chef or a home cook.
